FOOD, FLUIDS & ORDINARY ROUTINES
Begin with
the everyday basics.
Regular balanced meals, enough food for your activity, water through the day and adequate rest are useful foundations. A massage tool or supplement does not replace them.
This is general education, not a meal plan or a prescription for fluid, protein or electrolyte intake.
Keep hydration ordinary.
Have water available and drink regularly through the day, adapting to your activity, conditions and any advice from your healthcare team. Needs vary; there is no single amount suitable for every person.
Follow a prescribed fluid limit. Massage or electrical stimulation does not create a special need to drink extra water to “flush toxins.”
Make space for food after activity.
After demanding exercise, include carbohydrate and protein in a meal or snack, alongside enough food overall. For example, a regular meal with a starchy food, a protein source and fruit or vegetables can be a practical choice. Adapt food choices for allergies, preferences and medical advice.
There is no need to buy a special “recovery” product for every ordinary walk or stretching session. If you need a sports-nutrition plan or have dietary restrictions, a qualified dietitian can personalize it.
